Traveling the MM Way
Traveling while living the Medical Medium lifestyle is entirely possible. I have been doing it for many years. Staying organized and informed are two ways to ensure smooth travel. Here are some of my tips to help take the stress out.
Restaurants
Here’s how I have successfully ordered while in restaurants. I have had polite and kind conversations about food in order to get the information I need and make sure the information is both correct and MM compliant. The energy you meet the restaurant manager/staff with and the tone you set at the beginning will make all the difference, so I recommend starting with prayer. You are building a relationship of trust within a five minute timeframe.
Vegan places will have a list of ingredients in their sauces, etc. but the hidden ingredients won’t be on the menu. You have to specifically ask for that information. Send an email with the list of troublemaker ingredients. (refer them to your list) The restaurant can review the list and respond with what items are compliant.
I bring our own cutlery, water wipes, and hygienic toilet supplies into the restaurant.
At the table, I request from the waiter that our drinks are served in plastic disposable cups, and that we prefer to pack our own to-go containers.
Hotels
We use disposable sheets. (Link for sheets) Remove the comforter. Lightly spray the mattress with sovereign silver, enough to cover it but not so it’s wet. Let it aerate. Put the disposable sheets on top of the existing sheets. I take it one step further and put my own personal sheets on top of the disposable sheets. After we’re done with them, I leave them for housekeepers to take. I also take every old sheet I have that I can leave behind as well. I clean the hotel toilet with sovereign silver, alcohol, and soap. I always travel with dr. Bronner’s, Ecover soap, and lots of disposable gloves.
I have found that Airbnbs have more issues with bugs, and hotels have more issues with fragrances. Be sure to explain to the hotel staff beforehand that you have a sensitivity. However, there will still be fragrance exposure in the hallways, elevators, etc.
Trailers
For our traveling needs, we invested in a trailer because we just don’t want any more exposure. We own a Bean Stock 2.0 lightweight. (link here) This doesn’t need to be winterized, there’s no engine, it can be hooked up to tow vehicles with a weight capacity of 1500 lbs (jeeps, SUVs, etc.) 1176 lbs is the based weight. It’s fully loaded with a table, side kitchen and solar. There are two tables that can connect with each other. There is a cammock awning that acts as a roof for the kitchen. We also have an additional power station and eco flow delta pro. You also have an option that includes an ice co 95 court dual zone refrigerator.
Cleaning Supplies (with links)
FRONTIER: This is the wholesale account I use for several of these products.
WOOT: Woot is an Amazon offshoot. They have deals that are 30%-50% off certain things.
MIELE VACUUM CLEANER:
WATER WIPES WITH SOVEREIGN SILVER: I purchase the wipes and then douse inside the package with sovereign silver. At Frontier, you can access the sovereign silver for 40% off rather than paying regular price. For example, 64 oz is $120 where it’s typically over $200 on the website (check that)
BON AMI:
ECOVER:
BRONNER’S: Choose one of the castile soaps without citric acid
IF YOU CARE GLOVES:
NITRILE GLOVES (for disposable use):
