RO Water Filtration: PUR20  (Please clarify this article.  It has many details that I was not familiar with.)

PUR20: The Pur20 offers two options for a whole house water filtration, with the option to purchase an extra filter used for drinking water.

Just like the carbon filtration system where it’s multi-level and that’s guided for places more Northeast America (according to them the water isn’t as bad in those areas).  Like a helium balloon tank.

Carbon filtration in addition to the system that removes the hardness of the water. It’s done through the added membranes of the system and salt that neutralizes the toxic calcium.  This one is wider and taller than just the carbon one. It’s a bit bigger.  With that one, the salt bin has to sit right next to it.

Four stage. Big blue is a filter that comes with an outer shell. The filter has microns that removes more toxins and placed right before the UV filter.  The water comes through the filter and the salt then it hits the big blue extra fine filter, then goes through the UV light to kill pathogens.
